God and Religion

God! What is it? 'What', not 'Who', for I don't consider him to be present as a 'body' or any celestial 'being'. God is by far the greatest invention of man. God never created man but it was man who created God, and that too out of fear. Oh! What an irony! The one who was meant to give us power to conquer our fears was itself born out of the manly fears.

When the man started thinking and the civilisation began taking place, the wise men of those times knew that the world would be in chaos if man figured it out that he is the ultimate being on the face of the earth. So, they created a God out of everything that harmed humans - fire, rain, lightening, and so on, and told people that the extreme natural phenomena were the wrath of the God and this is how the creator got created.

People today, may argue that though God may not be a celestial being but it is a form of energy that gives us the power to conquer all the challenges, make righteous decisions and live life in peace. I say yes, that is quite true but the energy is inside you. It is the fruit of four billion years of evolution. GODDAMN GOD! The Rig Veda says, "अहम् ब्रह्मस्मि" (I AM GOD!). It is your brain, your thinking power, your wisdom that helps you achieve your desires and fuels your propulsion.

Now let us talk about religion.
When God does not exist in the way we believe him to be, then God did not preach the religion as we are taught. In fact, God never preached any religion.

Religion is a way to spend life so that we may make the most of it. Religion is a set of rules and regulations so that we may make peace with each other and also with ourselves. All the religions in the world teach the same basic values since they are universal in nature, and do not change from person to person or place to place. We have different religions as different  people at different places on different times taught the same values. And people followed those leaders because they believed in those values. So, we have been actually following the great values which stand true from eternity till today instead of the religion we were born into. Religion is understood by reading its magnificent scriptures and books; not by blindly putting a surname and carrying it till death. You can understand your religion better only if you have been touched by someone who follows another religion.

That is all I have understood about God & Religion till now.

    That is all I have understood about God & Religion til now.
    It is a kind suggestion if you want to live peacefully in a country like INDIA, please do not talk about religion publicly.
